Globesco, Inc. recently joined the MANILACON 09 held at the SMX Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City on September 3-6, 2009.
This year’s theme, “Enabling Responsible and Sustainable Solutions for the Built Environment” emphasized the need of the local construction industry to increase awareness and contribute in realizing the green and sustainable built environment in the country. The challenge thus set forth was, what local architecture and building should in response to the climate change and incorporating globally available practices of sustainability.
L.A. Ducut and Co., Inc., organizer of this yearly event, first launched MANILACON in September 2008, injecting a fresh approach in the construction trade show execution and management in the Philippines.
Globesco holds Product Presentation for Painters of Barangay Commonwealth in Quezon City
A product presentation was held last September 13, 2009 for painters from Barangay Commonwealth in Quezon City. In attendance at Max’s Restaurant at the Ever Gotesco Mall along Commonwealth Avenue were 26 painters.
Aside from learning the facts about the various paint products available for both architectural and industrial needs, the painters were treated to a sumptuous lunch of Max’s fried chicken. After which raffle prizes were drawn and all guests went home with a prize.
